San Ciprià, the Sixties, the annual festival, the marquee. The waiting grows long. The group of artists who have to do the song recital do not arrive and Mrs. Borrell, in charge of getting it going, gets upset. How is she to sort it out? Will she get away with the incivility and bad manners of the mayor? Will the Sixteen Judges finally arrive? Or will the neighbour Senyor Borrull, a humble accordion player with his versions of bread dipped in oil have to bail her out?
