Cross the Verge (El Segell del Primavera, 2016) is the second reference of JOANA SERRAT in two years, but her path is like Hemingway's theory of the iceberg: the dignity of her movement owes to the fact that only a small part of the body can be seen above water. The new album is the visible rounding off of her whole career, and she repeats names and places frequented with fortune in her earlier Dear Great Canyon (El Segell, 2014): the producer Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Vic Chesnutt), musicians Gavin Gardiner (The Wooden Sky) and Toni Serrat and the Hotel2tango analogue studio in Montreal (Canada) are the keys to 'not change anything because everything changes' in the new album.
