MARINAH Y LOS ARGONAUTAS

After ten years with Ojos de Brujo, MARINAH began her solo career with the album El baile de las horas. First she was Marina Abad. Then she was called Ojos de Brujo. She has haunted, fuelling the way of seeing the world from a Mediterranean urban neighbourhood, El Raval, in Barcelona, one of the many Babels grown up around an ancient sea. She has sung the new sounds of a culture that continues to grow fertile among peoples from far away, asserting herself as a woman in the refinement of "Akí estoy" pointing south with "Despierto" letting herself go with the Latin beat "Te gusto" accompanied by Ruzzo and Roldan, - members of Orishas -, softening up with "Iré", finding airs of digital tango on "El carrusel"- not in vain produced by Philippe Cohen of the Gotan Proyect - and stating her desire for joy in "Quiero ser feliz." MARINAH comes back to life on stage.
