DANIEL LUMBRERAS’s music is hard to define since it has touches of African, Celtic, Brazilian and even Sufi chants and Raï music. But the base remains folk pop of a Western style, rich in nuance and very lyric. Cinematic (Hidden Track Records, 2020), his third album emerged from lockdown but does not appeal to it directly. Cinematic is, therefore, a sound journey originating in a cinematographic itinerary.
