ELECTRORUMBAIAO is the new project of DJ Panko, best known for his work with Ojos de Brujo. It is a proposal of flamenco electronic with Brazilian percussion, Balkan accordions and spectacular projections and visual works. This is how they are presenting their first album, Boom (Satelite K, 2015), with which they proposed a trip to all the sounds of current world music: experimental flamenco sounds from Baiao with Brazilian percussion and fiery Balkan rhythms. It is a proposal with an international vocation, since they are present in some of the most important world music festivals in Europe this season, and when the occasion permits they are accompanied by collaborations like the ones we find on the record: Wagner Pa, Kumar, Iza, Adri and Rubén (La Pegatina), Benjamin or Yahcine (Tahcine & the Oriental Groove). Dance, electronic and world music, it is one of the safest bets on the ethnic scene with an international vocation of our city, as have all DJ Panko's projects been.
