MURSEGO

MUSERGO is Maite Arroitajauregi. Mursego is bat in Portuguese. MUSERGO plays music with a cello, loop station, chiflo, China cymbals, slide whistle, tambourine, ukulele, keyboard with coloured lights, autoharp, rhymes, clapping, improvisation and vocals. Arroitajauregi was and is cellist of many bands in the Basque Country: Anari, Lisabö, Xabier Montoia ... Hiru (Bidehuts, 2014) is her third album: a journey through rock, avant-garde, classic and pop, where cumbia and poetry merge with techno-punk and where the violent savannah merges with the Finland of Kaurismaki.
