LLIBERT FORTUNY & DIEGO AMADOR

DIEGO AMADOR is flamenco by nature, but the reason he has become a pianist is his passion for jazz. He has shared the stage with Larry Coriel, Chick Corea and Pat Metheny, among others. LLIBERT FORTUNY was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canarias, but soon returned to Catalonia. At age seven he began studying music theory, guitar and piano lessons in Manresa and at eleven he began his career as saxophonist. In 1997 he obtained a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and during his stay in the United States shared the stage with Chick Corea, the Greg Hopkins Band and the Boston Pops Orchestra. In 2001 he graduated summa cum laude. Since then he has continued to perform and promote new projects, like the one he is presenting in Vic with DIEGO AMADOR.
