Verde Prato and CLARAGUILAR present their collaboration born within the first edition of the artistic residency 'Ozen i Fort', supported by Musika Bulegoa and Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació de Barcelona. Both Anna and Clara have built their own sonic imaginary drawing from diverse styles and influences that make them two rare birds impossible to label. Through this residency, the Basque and Catalan creators come together to explore, imagine, and express sound with a shared vision. They will premiere their collaboration at the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic.
The diligence with which Clara Aguilar approaches her musical career has borne fruit since the moment she began to devote herself to it. Her broad experience as a sound designer, producer, and composer for the performing arts eventually blossomed into her personal project, CLARAGUILAR, which draws from electronic music and incorporates reminiscences of a musical education she left behind in her adolescence, only to return to it years later with her own personal language.
The music of Verde Prato links the spheres of pop and minimalism with a light and enigmatic touch. Shaped by the imagery of her homeland and her connection with the fine arts, the vocal timbre of Ana Arsuaga, with its wide range and ethereal contours, elevates the phenomena of her everyday surroundings, enveloping them in atavistic atmospheres nourished by evocative figures. With a dazzling career, her proposal is stylistically unmistakable.
