DRY MARTINA from Malaga are preparing a new album, their fourth, and their second LP. The first was the EP Musarañas (BMG, 2010); then came Momento perfecto (Contraproducciones, 2012), a self-released LP which found favour with critics and the public, with a national and international tour. In March 2014 they repeated this formula and released a four track EP, Tan solo quiero yo tu amor (Dry Records, 2014), giving a glimpse of what will be their next album. Unclassifiable, they distance themselves from prevailing rhythms with some numbers in Spanish that at once remind us they cannot be compared with anything. Influenced by rock and roll, calypso, rocksteady, blues, soul, mambo and everything that sounds vintage, they materialize in their live performances the festivals of clubs from before, where the only law was to have fun.
