OFF MERCATLIA KALI discovered music at home. At the age of 16 she was already going to all the jams in Barcelona. There she got to know the Barcelona scene and learnt to dialogue with reggae, jazz, soul and rap. During the pandemic, tired of singing other people's songs, she began to write her own. LIA KALI is currently one of the most in-demand singers on the urban scene. Her first album, Contra Todo Pronóstico (Propaganda pel Fet!, 2023), makes it clear that any categorisation falls short.
