There is a band with a new style - trapetón - that is clearly and quickly breaking fresh ground with some comic and everyday lyrics that are hooking a whole generation. We are talking about THE TYETS, from Mataró (Maresme). This duet that mixes trap, reggaeton, Latin rhythms and pop influences has created hits like “Amics, tiets i coneguts” with Els Amics de les Arts, “RRHH (Tinc una Casa)”, “Hamaking”, “Menorca” or “Txarango al Canet Rock”, themes well known by the audience that have accumulated thousands of listens on the continuous playback platforms. THE TYETS are currently presenting their début album, El pipeig (Luup Records, 2020).
