By means of this privacy policy ORGANISME AUTÒNOM DE FIRES I MERCATS (from now on, “OFIM”) wishes to inform all people who browse and access the website www.mmvv.cat of how their personal data is handled.
Accessing the website does not require prior registration. In all cases, by continuing to browse, the user accepts this privacy policy and the cookie policy in full.

Before sending any request for information via the contact form on this website, the user must accept the privacy policy, in order to provide their express and informed consent to the handling of their data for the purposes indicated.

Purpose and form of holding the data
OFIM will handle users’ data for the following purposes:

To manage the use of the features made available through the website.

The data handled for this purpose will be held while the contractual and/or business relationship continues between the user and OFIM In cases where the requests made by a user do not constitute a contractual relationship, the data will be held until said request has been resolved.

To keep users informed, via marketing messages, of OFIM services and news.

The user will only receive said marketing messages if they agree to it, by ticking the corresponding box.
Said data will only be held until the moment at which the user withdraws their consent or exercises their right to oppose the holding of it.

Legitimation
The handling of said data is made legitimate by:

- The fulfilment of contractual obligations.
- The consent of the party concerned to the sending of requests and the inclusion in the process of selecting or receiving marketing messages.

Third-party recipients
The data will not be passed on to third parties, unless it is legally required.

Rights
The user may freely exercise their rights to access, rectify, oppose the holding of the data or delete it at any time, as well as the other rights regulated by Regulation (EU) 679/2016 - that is, the right to carry the data and limit the handling of it - in writing, enclosing a copy of their DNI (Spanish ID) or a valid document which identifies them to OFIM or via the following email address: dpofim@vic.cat

OFIM informs the user that, if they deem it appropriate, they have the right to file a complaint with the corresponding supervisory authority.


 

Is it mandatory to provide all the information requested on the contact form?

On the forms on the website, the user has to complete the fields marked "required". Failure to give the required personal data or doing so partially may result in OFIM not being able to meet your requests and, consequently, OFIM will not be held liable should any of the services requested not be provided in whole or in part.

The personal data which the user gives to OFIM must be up-to-date in order for the information held to be current and correct. The user states that the data provided is true.

 

What security measures are taken by the company?

OFIM informs the user that their personal data is handled at all times in accordance with the applicable regulations on data protection and the services of information companies.
OFIM has the technical and organisational security measures in place which are necessary to guarantee the security of users’ personal data and to avoid it being altered, lost, handled and/or accessed by unauthorised parties, according to the state of the technology, the nature of the stored data and the risks to which it is exposed, whether from human acts or from the physical or natural causes, in accordance with what is covered by the current regulations.

 

Underage children

Children under 14 years old may not give their personal data to OFIM without the prior consent of their parents and/or legal guardians.

In the event of OFIM suspecting that the user is under 14, they reserve the right to request a copy of the user’s DNI (Spanish ID) or equivalent identity document, or where appropriate, the authorisation of their parents and/or legal guardians, which will cause the service to be cancelled if this requirement is not met or if there is no response.
