In just over two years and one album, Mujeres (Sones 2009), MUJERES have managed to go from playing small bars in Barcelona to taking their blend of garage, punk and rock'n'roll to a load of cities, the most prestigious festivals in Spain and other places like England, France, Italy and the United States. The chronicles of their full of energy live performances, with instant hits, sweat and howling, as well as the unanimous reaction of audiences and critics turn MUJERES into a publicly acclaimed group. In this year’s edition of the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic they will present a preview of their second album, which they will record this coming winter and which is scheduled to be published in early 2012.
