PEP POBLET’s second record is self-produced and self-managed. After the success of his former work -3 (self-produced, 2006)-, Saxology (self-produced, 2010) it is Pep Poblet and Xavi Ibáñez’s most laboratory record. This time they have worked and played with the sound of different saxophones, and the result is the more 'saxophone' record of their eleven years of joint work. We find all the variety of sounds and the versatility that this instrument offers. Subtle vocals, precious guitars and surrounding keyboards are some examples of what can be heard in this new record. Ten themes composed by the two artists who, little by little and record after record, are positioning themselves in the world of smooth jazz.
