ALMA AFROBEAT ENSEMBLE

ALMA AFROBEAT ENSEMBLE (AAbE) is an international group: it is made up of ten members from four continents. The leader and main composer, Aaron Feder, founded the group in Chicago. He later moved to Barcelona and reformed it with Kwame Adzraku, Ghanaian drummer with over 35 years experience on drums, including concerts with Fela Kuti himself. The AAbE play original, creative and energetic Afro-beat, looking to both the past and future of this music. The Senegalese rapper and dancer Baba Gaye brings unmatched energy and political thinking to the stage, while the rest of the group consists of some of the best world music artists in Barcelona.
