Her background is one of r'n'b, hip-hop and soul, though electronic, future dance hall and afrobeat are what marked her first work, Mbande Sound (Slow Walk Music, 2017), produced by Meapetece and mixed by Chalart 58 (who recorded the last album with Fermin Muguruza). Her lyrics speak of women, of independence, of courage and of the African Diaspora. Conscience, the current sound of Africa and a band whose live performance leaves no one indifferent: despite this being her first solo album, MARGA MBANDE already has three publications with her first r'n'b group, the duo Dlux, making a lot of impact in Spain and on the Latin scene.
