ELECTROTOYLETS

Armed with an authentic arsenal of instruments, toys and a lot of surreal electrical junk (from the game “Simon” to vocoders and miniature guitars), ELECTROTOYLETS present their first record, Volempamboli (DiscMedi, 2009), with a fun and iconoclastic show, which converts some of the key issues of Catalan music folklore into authentic bombs of low definition electronic psychedelia. It contains pearls like " Zarathustra congelat", “El Noi de la Mare”, “El Cant dels Ocells”, “La gavina”, “La pastoreta” or the “Virolai”. In only two years, ELECTROTOYLETS has become a revelation group. Their unique and bizarre mixture of electronics, experimentation and traditional melodies has allowed them to conquer stages as varied as the Sònar (Barcelona), the Festival Temporada Alta (Girona), the Macau Festival (China), the Acústica in Figueres or the Invictro.
